Princh is the printing system used by Council libraries to enable members of the public to print documents at library facilities (and pay for it).

For this to work for library officers, they must have a printer installed on their system - use your admin account to do this.

This article provides step-by-step instructions to install and configure Princh printing on a library kiosk, including installing the required components and verifying functionality.

Step 1: Princh Admin

Open a web browser and go to https://admp.princh.com/. Log in using your Princh administrator account.

Step 2: Download the required installers:

  • Navigate to the Connectors menu and locate the relevant printer. Download the Connector installer for that printer.
  • Navigate to the Locations and Printers menu. Locate the same printer and select Download PC Client for Location.

Step 3: Run the Connector installer first:

  • Locate the downloaded Connector installer file.
  • Run the installer and complete the installation process.
  • Once installation is complete, close the installer.

Step 4: Install the Princh printer client:

  • Locate the downloaded PC Client installer.
  • Run the installer and complete the installation process.

Step 5: Set the Princh printer as the default printer:

  • Open Windows Settings.
  • Navigate to Printers.
  • Locate the newly installed library Princh printer.
  • Set it as the default printer.

Step 6: Test the installation:

  • Print a test document from the kiosk.
  • Confirm that a Princh window opens automatically prompting for print job payment and release.

Accounts for Princh are handled by Business Systems - check with them for log in (the library officers are usually across them though)
