Scenario
You have a list of property / water service IDs that have been referred to debt recovery and you need to add the flag and alerts to the properties in bulk. This is a reversible process - you can run this process to both add and remove property debt recovery status flags.
Steps to Execute
You will need:
-
A list of property / water IDs that you would like to update, with debt recovery selection codes and dates in the format of the attached file.
- Note: this file is a list of just the ones you want to update.
- It must be saved as a .csv
- It must have only valid property IDs, and selection codes (from selection type PRPDBTSTGE (property) or WTRDBTSTGE (water))
- It must have no duplicate property / water IDs.
- It must have the right "Entity ID" in this file, for each ID - you can have both types of entities in the same file. ("Property" or "Water")
- It must be named "debt_recovery_statuses.csv"
Steps:
- Upload your CSV to your USRAREA server folder in the P&R suite.
- If you've done this before, your old one may still be in there - make sure you overwrite the old file.
- Navigate to the ETLs screen and run the ETL named "Update debt recovery statuses on properties" (AT_DEBT_RECOVERY_STATUS_FIELDS_UPDATE).
- Hit run and wait for the ETL to run. It can take some time so be patient.
- When the ETL is finished you will have an email in your inbox with a copy of the file you uploaded.
Note:
- To remove the flags on properties in bulk, simply run an import as above with the "NA" flag (and any date) for each property / water service you want to clear.
Reporting:
To access the information you've now updated within OneCouncil:
- Property:
- Navigate to the Property Enquiry (search) screen.
- Switch to column view, and add columns labelled "Property Debt Recovery Stage" and "Debt Recovery As At Date"
- Water:
- Navigate to the Water Service Enquiry (search) screen
- Switch to column view, and add columns labelled "Selection Code 2" and "Date 2".
- (These are the same thing as the property view, the columns are just named generically)
