This guide will walk you through setting up a new Princh connecter (Princh Box) in order to allow Library PACs to print.
1. Ensure that the New Princh box is fully up-to-date, and that you can remote into it successfully. As the Princh Box will not have peripherals, remoting in is required.
2. Download and install the drivers for the printer it will be using. Depending on the driver, it will need to be installed on site.
2.1 While connected to the same network as the printer, add the printer to the device.
3. Log into the Princh Admin Portal. In the Connector's menu, create a new connector and name it according to it's location.
4. Remove the Printer you wish to use from the Old Connector. Do not delete the old connector until the new one is working.
5. Download the installer for the new connector and install it onto the new Princh Box.
6. Restart the Princh Box. Once the new connector is online, remove the printer you wish to use from the old connector, and add it to the new connector.
7. Connectors menu, click edit on the printer. Select the edit icon under PRINTER CONNECTION URI.
8. Selected Windows printer queue, list available printers, and select your printer.
9. Select Print Test Document to confirm it works. If you get an 'Unknown error' it is likely a driver issue.
